Windows Server as a router

Is it possible to use windows server 2003 to connect to different networks together for internet access like a router

Yes it is but you will need to configure the RRAS service first.
This should be installed by default.
Ok I must warn that I am still studying for my MCSE 2003 so this is not pro fact. In admin tools you should find the Routing and Remote Access applet. Try that.

Yes, you will want to use RRAS. You will also require a NIC per network.

You could setup static routes in the routing tables using the command prompt and the route command. This is a little harder to do than using RRAS but if you have any interest in working with managed switches and routers, it's good to know. For more info on the route command type the following command in a command prompt window:

route /?
