Windows 7 blocks my servers alias

well i have a web server runing on my server box and a lias pointing to a share on a diffrent computer the web server cant access the files but the server can all i get is error 403 forbidden the share is on a windows n7 machine any ideas y its doing this and how to fix it it was working last night b4 i did a server restart its running abyss web server x1 have the same issue with iis and apache
