Hello, I recently installed a new AD with Windows Server 2003. The server is pretty fast and file access and program access from the server are very fast. It has a teamed nics running at 2gb. All programs from workstations run very quickly but file access (word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) is pretty slow opening, saving, and closing. The page file is set at recommended and we don't have any errors in the even log pointing to the disk. It is a raid 5 setup with 256mb cache on the raid 5 card. Any ideas. All hardware seems to be fine.
