I have a very strange problem going with our Windows 2003 NAS server. We have 3 Windows 2000 servers and just got this win 2003 NAS server. One of win 2k server is also a domain controller. When I turned on our NAS server, I joined it with the existing domain in win2k. In the first month, I did not have any issues but now it is not recognizing any domain user accounts other then the built in local user accounts. For example, if I create a new folder in the root of 'c' on this NAS server and then want to make it accessible to only '2' specific users, it is not finding our domain name anymore to assign these permissions. However, any folders that I created in the first month (when I was able to see the domain users); all of those permissions work fine. From any computer on the network, I am able to get to this 2003 NAS easily. If I create a new folder and assign EVERYONE with full permission, I then be able to see that folder from any where in the network. I think that it is not inheriting permissions from Win 2K domain controller anymore. ANY SUGGESTIONS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Tahir.
