I am ordering some beefy servers for an sql server and an application server. I am disturbed by the 4 Gig RAM limitation on Windows server 2003. Is there a 'flavor' of Server 2003 that will support 8 Gig's of RAM (advanced server, 64 bit).

These are VB apssp so a non windows box would not be an option.

Go to MS's web site and review the different versions of 2003. Only Standard supports only 4gig.

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Windows 2003 will support more RAM but for this you will have to use the /PAE switch in the boot.ini file.
