I have hp compaq d530s desktop and have installed Windows 2003 on it. That does'nt install driver for ethernet controller as it shows yellow sign in Device manager. I tried to download all drivers but could'nt find any. Could someone tell me which driver should i install.

Thanks for your comments and ideas, together they provided me with some ideas.
Here is what I did.
In the SERVER
- I made a new account with administrator's rights (let's call the account rpang).
- when adding a Computer in AD, I setup my rpang account as the account that was allowed to join the computer to the Domain.
- Made the generic staff accountsIn the Clients.
- Made a new account with administrator's rights, BUT used the same username and password as the account made in AD (rpang)
- loged on as rpang (administrator)
- Right click on My Computer and Select Network ID to change the optin from Workgroup to Domain.
- When the computer asked me for the username and passord for the account for permission to join the domain, I supplied the rpang account(again). and it WORKED...honest to Goodness.
- reboot the client and you can log on using the staff accounts already made.I did noticed that once I logged with the staff's account, that the client computer thoguht I was a new user and gave me a clean desktop, this is fine (and expected). The PROBLEM now is that programs like Outlook wanted to be reconfigured.
Any ideas for such? Or is it easier to export the pst file first (before joining the domain) and then import after joining the domain with the staff account and reconfiguring Outlook
r.

Seems that these are out of sync.
Sure, if the driver isn't signed you will have problems. You can try 2000 or xp drivers or you might have to get a supported NIC.

I just installed server 2003 yesterday and had 3 devices not recognized (NIC one of them). I was able to install the drivers from XP without any trouble, but I'm sure it depends on the HW you are using. I'm still struggling with the modem though (HSP56 micromodem). As for your Outlook issue, any time a "new" user logs on and gets a fresh desktop (new windows profile) a new Outlook profile will need to be created as well. If you already had a PST folder, you can just reconnect to it and you'll have all your old personal folders back
Let not the world see you as THEY choose, but choose to show the world who you REALLY are!
