I have a task scheduled to run on an XP Pro/SP2 system which passes a parameter to the executable and this runs perfectly. Set up the identicle Scheduled Task on the Win2k3 Server and it fails stating that it doesn't understand that I'm trying to pass a script=Scriptname parameter to the executable.
Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the two version of the task scheduler are or is this an architectural difference in the OS's?
If I run the task I'm trying to schedule manually on Win2k3, ie starting the program and manually clicking on the run script radio button, then everything works as it should.
This is my first Win2k3 server so have a steep learning curve.
Any pointers would be gratefully received.
Cheers
Matt Evans
