What I'm looking to do is have two servers, one that does my DHCP, IIS6, DNS, WINS, Email, VPN and shares files. I want a second server that takes over all tasks if the first one fails. I don't have W2K3 with clustering. Any suggestions?
Thanks

A simple but crude way would be to take regular backups of the first server config and then do a restore to the second if the first falls over. It's certainly not going to provide 100% uptime though.
DNS - certainly possible to set up a primary and secondary DNS server. The DNS wizard gives you the options.
AD - Installing AD on a second server will give redundancy as long as Global Catalog is enabled on the second (don't think it is as standard)
File shares - Distributed File System should help with this I think
As for the others i'm not sure as I don't yet have much experience of IIS duplication, VPN or DHCP. Anyone else help?
Hope the info I have given helps
