Hi
i have just setup win2003 server and was wondering if it was possible to add a user the the win2003 server and then jump onto another win2000/XP workstation and logon as the user you just created on the win2003 server?
do you get what i am tring to say here? Create user accounts in one location and then access the user accounts from differant computers. I just want to Know if this is posible from a win2003 server without using Nowell.

Strange question since that is what domains are for - 2003 domain controller, XP clients that join the domain and then log onto the domain with the accounts you create on the server.
If you are used to Novell, then you are used to using the client machine to do administrative tasks on the server. Nothing gets done at the Novell server console but with Windows environment everything gets done at the server (but it can be done through remote administration from a client machine too)

When I try to logon locally at the console keyboard it
keeps telling me the local policy does not permit
interactive logon ????? In Windows 2000 Server it was fine,
why can't you use the Console keyboard? Any
suggestions, I already enabled all the Group and Local
Policies to Allow local logon.
HELP

Do you mean to log on locally to the actual domain controller? Only the local admin/domain admin accounts are allowed to do this - that was the case also with 2000.
Regular users are not supposed to logon locally to the DC or any server. If you are having problems logging on locally as domain admin that is a different problem.
You have to be careful about those policies because you can effectively shut yourself out by implementing a wrongly configured policy.
