Hi,
My goal :
1. install win2003 server
2. connect 4 computers to it
3. these 4 PC will have access to run MS-Office or some applications from the serverQuestion: How do I do that ?
Please help.

Your question is kind of like asking someone to explain string theory or quantum mechanics.
Here is a list of basic decisions that will have to be made;
1. do you want to do peer to peer or client/server [active directory] networking? (see questions 5 &6)
2. what hardware do you plan on using for the server, workstations and network?
3. do you plan on internet access for all?
4. what do you envision you need a server for?
5. What software do you wish to run?
6. what do you plan to use the network for?
You will need to install MS Office on each pc
Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search

Hi,
Thank you for replying. Your list has lighten up my plan. I am a tech but not networking kind of guy and my wife is planning to setup a business in remitting money sort of a Western Union or Money Gram, but small and only deal with one country. We are in a very tight budget. I am planning to get 5xP3 pc and 1 Dual Core for a server. I would like to create a network where I can control the internet connection for 5 pcs and these 5 should be able to run MS-Office or any application off the server not locally. Please help.
I can install the server but I need help to fgiure it out to run as an application server if that how it's called.
Thank you again for your time. I really appreciate it.
