Comment:

This DC was upgraded from a Win2000 DC. It is the only DC in the domain, which is a child domain of another domain. When I log into the server as an admin, I can't open Active Directory Users & Computers. I get the error: "Naming information cannot be located for the following reason: The server is not operational."

I can't open anything relating to the domain. Any ideas? Thanks!

Never mind, I found the problem... Oddly enough, it comes from using the Winsock Proxy Client, which is out of date and was recently installed. Weird because there was nothing in the the errors that pointed to that. Oh well.
