Hi,
I have install extra DC on my domain? the old is Server 2k3, the new is Server 2k3 R2.
I'm DCpromo and all is ok but I'm can't find the share of the netlogon folder on the new Server? !!!!

I haven't used 2k3 r2 enough yet to know for sure what the problem is but I found this snippet on microsoft's site.

"The Net Logon service uses a parameter stored in the registry to identify the location of the folder that it uses to create the SYSVOL and NETLOGON share points. By default, this path is %systemroot%\SYSVOL\Sysvol. If you change the paths to these folders, you must update these values."

Which brings to mind the question of is the netlogon service running on the new server?

The grass may not be greener on the other side . . . but it just might have less weeds. :-D
