Hi, everyone!

Could someone give me a link to a site that sells servers that do everything? I'm currently looking at the HP, IBM and Intel sites but haven't found what I'm looking for.

Regards,

Minki.

What I mean is a server that deals with DNS, DHCP, Applications, WINS and whatever else there is that I haven't mentioned.

Any server can run "DNS, DHCP, applications, WINS".

"whatever else there is I haven't mentioned"

Messaging like Exchange?

Web server like IIS?

Sharepoint?

SQL?

And even if you list all you want to run, there's still no answer for you. We don't know how many users you have in your network. How much use of the applications do you expect?

What are your requirements for security and availability? Generally speaking, it's best to avoid running everything on one box.

You're effectively analogous to a person walking into a car dealership and saying, "I need transportation that can do everything." And you haven't given him any other valuable information needed to give you a good recommendation, like how many kids you have, how active you are, etc. And your notion of "everything" if the car salesperson probed a bit could actually mean you need multiple cars even.

heropsycho2177,

I know I wasn't very clear with my previous post. However, I was able to find the information I needed, I just had to be a bit more persistent in my search. Thanks for your help, anyway! :)

Minki.

Don't go thru IBM direct - they are a disaster!

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
