W2k3 server cant start fromdemotion

i just make demotion on an additional domain controller exactly as microsoft says in technet. Demotion complete successfuly and the server make the nesessery restart. The problem is that the server cant start but stays in the logon window whitch say "Preparing Network Connection", over an hour... What i can do????
