W2003 Server - mandatory profile

Is the Mandatory profile
Configured only on Roaming profile?
And not on a Local User
Because it didn't worked

People should be allowed to log in locally. That way it forces the mando profile I think.

My meaning was:
when i changed the username.dat to
username.man
it still saved the changed i made to the profile.
so it might be that the mandatory applys
to Roaming profiles only?

You can“t have username.dat, you can only have user.DAT and user.MAN in the <username> directory. (windows/profiles/username)

This works for both - local and roaming profiles.

Thanks that what i needed to know
Becuase when i tried to change the
user.dat to user.man
it supposed to purge the changes i made in the profile.
it didn't!
