VPN Set up ... how to add users??

I just set up my Win2k3 server for the VPN role. I also forwarded port 1723 and 47 to the VPN server.
My question is how do users connect to my VPN and how do I set user names and password. I have a very small network 3 client computers and I dont think it necessary to add a PDC. Is there a way to add user authentication to the VPN??

add them to the local SAM on the 2k3 srv also if your clients are on xp or 2k then its just a matter of adding a new network connection through the wizard.
