Hi, We have set up a VPN connection on our 2003 server which works and users are able to connect in. This issue we are having however is when a remote user connects in the VPN internal IP address is registered in the DNS and then causes issues as when you try and ping the server it is installed on using the host name it tries to ping the internal VPN address which cannot be reached. The VPN is configured on the domain controller and the DHCP is provided by a separate machine which is referenced in the VPN config. Is ther any reason why the VPN internal address registers itself in the DNS and is there any way to stop it from doing so as the network is brought to a standstill when this entry goes in??
