Vpn clients not getting ip adress

Hi there wonder if any 1 can help me out. We are running a VPN at our institution and it was working fine up until last week. The clients are able to connect to the network but they dont recieve a valid ip adress. They get a 169.x.x.x. adress. This is the reason why they can recieve email etc. Where in routing and remote access could i possibly solve this problem. Thanks Shaun

check the dhcp service that is providing ips on the vpn. Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?

Thanks where would i check for this?? Is it the same dhcp service which gives the clients in the active directory ip adresses ??
