Hi Guys/Gals

This one is a weird one (and extremely confusing).

Config is as follows:

Main Site:

1 SBS 2003 server
192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 subnet
1 NIC
DHCP, DNS and WINS all setup on server
1 DG834V2 router providing internet
VPN setup on server

Branch Office

1 DG834V2 router providing internet
192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 subnet
5 windows xp pro machines connecting in via VPN

At the branch office the clients connect in fine, they are connect to the Domain fine and all have exchange running etc

My problem is as follows:

The reception machine at Branch office has shares and printers connected to it which Main Office needs to have access to.

Once connected to the vpn I can ping the branch office reception machine from main office via IP and FQDN so there is no prob there...however if i try to map a drive on the reception machine in branch office, or if i try to \\reception the machine from Main office it simply dosn't work...i have tried this via IP as well with no success.

I have read and tried many solutions and am getting the idea it could be something to do with netbui or dns - howver why am i able to ping the reception machine via ip and fqdn?

I tried installing netbui on both the VPN server and reception machine to no avail

I know its a hard one but i need all the help in the world for this one

Thanks
