How much memory should my computer have in order to run linux without getting a stress under VMware? Is 512MB enough? or Do I need 1GB of memory?
thanks

Can't really answer that. More than memory is involved to cause loading. A very general rule is more is better.

It should run fine with 512 Megs. But the more memory you have the better, especially when it comes to something like this. If you can afford it I would recommend a gig.

I'm running Linux in VmWare right now with a gig of ram and it’s pretty damn sweet. With a gig of ram you have plenty of ram left for Windows.

Best bet, download the trial and give it a shot.
