Comment:

I deleted something in the registry while trying to remove some adware/spyware. Upon reboot, I get the blue screen followed by a physical memory dump. The error is "The video driver failed to initialize". I cant boot up in Safe Mode, Last Known Good Configuration, or any other mode. I can only get to the files using the Windows Recovery console (similar to command prompt, but very restricted). This article (http://www.gaming-nation.net/site/forums/archive/index.php/t-4022) suggested deleting the driver files manually. But I dont know which ones to delete. I have the GeForce 4 MX 440 w/ 8X AGP card. I have the Nvidia drivers installed. Can someone please help me find a solution? I really dont want to reinstall windows.

just run the recovery... it takes about 40 mins max... will reinstall windows over the top. You need your keycode, it shouldn't delete anything. It will just make your pc run like it did before your problems.

the answers to lifes problems are not at the end of a bottle. they are on tv =D
