Hi Guys

Is there a way to copy all user accounts (names and passwords) from AD on Windows 2000 server to a Active directory on windows 2003?

Windows 2000 is running Exchange 2000 but the new Windows 2003 will be a File and Print Server and would contain also the Home directories for all these users that exist on Windows 2000.

Is there a way I can easily do this User migration job?
Any advise will be helpful.

Research migration tools on microsoft's web site. There are several and one for sure for moving user accounts etc.

ADMT - active directory migration tool will move user accounts and there is another separate feature to move the passwords over too. It is a two step process. You can download this tool from Microsoft's website.

Thanks guys, will try them out but one last question remains, While I transfer these accounts, is there a way to create their Home directroies with right permissions too?
