Hi, i am setting up a new server for a project i have going on. And want to give my user a home application where they can store their info on the server. When I go into the users properties and into profile window, i use H: as a home path and i try to add \\server\users\<user>`^$

I have my shared folders on a second partision wich is like D:\Users\<user>$

But i am getting a error message when i try to apply this, something about connection or sharing rights..

Please help...

\\server\users\<user>`^$

the syntax is wrong. You can't use ^ and putting a $ is not required to hide the folder from other users.

You need to give the user full control permissions to their folder and deny everyone else [except admin].

You would also use unc not h:. You will use h: to map thier home folder via a logon script.

Example of Oxymoron:
Person who is pro life and anti sex education.
Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion. Abstinence training clearly isn't working.
