User details changed help

ok so someone i work with has got married so her username needs changing i have been told this causes alot of problems with the user account does anyone know what problems will occur so i know what to look out for before making the changes.

If you rename the account, then change the username you should not have any problems. The permissions for the user account will remain the same.
