Hi
I removed IIS and reinstalled. I have subsequently lost the "company web" folder in IIS but now have the "Default Website" but now I cannot connect to our SBS 2003 server from any client workstations – I am unable to ping the servers address from any client on the network but I can ping all computers on the network from the SBS server. This means that DHCP and DNS cannot be propogated throughout the network.
I am also receiving the following event log when I start up SBS server – it says the following:-
Source – CertSvc
Type: Error – Event ID: 27
Computer – Digkwikeuserver
Certificate Services did not start: Hierarchical Setup is incomplete. Use the request file in C:\digkwikeuserver.Digikwik.eu_cert.digikwik.eu.req.req to obtain a certificate for the Certificate Server and use the Certificate Authority Administration tool to install the new certificate and complete the installation.
When I run the Certificate Authority Administration tool to install the new certificate I get the following message :-
Microsoft Certificate Services – “An error was detected while configuring the certificate – Certificate Services Setup Wizard will need to be re-run to complete the configuration”
However, I run the wizard again and I keep getting the same error message.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Steve
