Folks,

I am trying to understand group of scope and various types of group (eg:local groups, default groups etc.) for MCSE server 2003.

I am stumbled upon following question if someone can help!

Why would someone require anonymous logon members? If someone can access resources without username and password wont it be risk?

Tried to google but cant figure this out!

My guess would be legacy programs and applications. Also some types of ftp and http access.

You would have data in a ntfs protected folder. You wouldn't allow much to be accessed.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10
