Hi
I have an Westren digital Internal hard drive, which I made as External hard drive by enclosing in a USB 2.0 supported enclosure and have been using it for the last 1.5 year with my 3 computers (2 Desktops and one note pad), Note pad is running xp and one desktop is 2003 enterprise edition (usb 1.0 hub) and onde desktop is 2000 server (with usb 2.0 4 point hub). Notepad has usb 2.0 PCMCIA card. I have been using this external hard drive with no problem on 3 machines so far.
Yesterday I formatted my formally windows 2000 server reinstalled it with 2003 enprise edition. Now when I connect my externla hard drive, Safely Remove Hardware windowe shows that it is connected with my hard drive, but I am unable to see the drive letter in explorer. If Igo my disk management I see this drive with no name and showing 117 Gb 100% free with blank under flie system. When I connected the same driver for my other old 2003 server and notepad I can see this drive and under disk management for both machines it shows as NTFS type.
Can someone help me Why I unable to see this drive letter throug this new 2003 server.
