network bridge you need either the router to do internal dns or set up dns on your server and have it make the translation
since the wan isnt seperating your network from the wan when you type in internal destinations it is looking to web to find them
some solutions if you dont want internal dns are to setup wins or host entries
drawbacks are that using a mixed mode of dns and wins like that is known to muck with dns resolution over time host entries are impracical unless you want to add entries manualy over time (or by batch but still manual to an extent) to maintain greatest amont of control I would set up an internal dns server with two cards one external (using the wan ) the other internal and let it do the translations for you
