tsmmc.msc not saving password

OS: Win XP
CPU/Ram: Pentium 4 1 gig ram

I am using the tsmmc.msc from the adminpak install, in an AD domain. I tell it to save password but it is not saving it. This is driving me nutz, it works fine on a co-workers computer.

pls help.
