Dear All!

Today, I received one message when my Windows Server 2003 startup. That is "The Active Directory is rebuilding indices. Please wait...".

My server still that state a long time and I could not logon and do anything on my Server.

Help me!!!

Same thing is happening to me. I let it go for about 20 hours with no result. I tried last known good configuration, but that didn't change it.
I'm booting up in safe mode w/ network support, and it's hung on restoring network connections.

Stay tuned....

After some time, I was able to log in under safe mode w/ network support. I ran chkdsk /f on the boot drive and rebooted. After that the server rebooted normally. I can't say if chkdsk was responsible.
