Trend Micro Client Messaging Suite w/Server Protect is great. I've used all of them in corp. settings (Norton Corp used to be pretty good but....not so much anymore, McAfee, etc) and Trend is far superior

Symantec protects fine, but it often is burdensome on a machine as it uses too many resources, which is what bothers me about it.

TrendMicro is good.

I used to defend Symantec bigtime but they have gotten pretty bad lately with the resources they take up. Symantec Corp used to have two or three processes running, now 6/7 at a minimum. The McAfee EPO sw got really good reviews but, I found it to be a big pile of dung(random lockups, bluescreens, etc). I've been on Trend for the last two years and have had zero virus outbreaks or problems with it.

The company I work for is a Symantec partner, so unfortunately I'm gonna have to learn to use Symantec from now on. :-(

I will say their antispam stuff for Exchange rocks.

I use Symantec Entprise. I use GFI Mailessentials for my spam protection.

Holy Wow.

Now that you have decided on this, research it nd make sure it doesnt have any conflicts with anything on your NW. The reason we had to stop using it was it had a problem with the IP stack that wouldnt allow NSI DoubleTake (our disaster recovery SW) to work. This is when I ended up trying McAfee EPO and settled on Trend.
