I cannot get my ftp virtual directory to work at all. Let me show you steps I went through and maybe someone can see my fault:

1. I right clicked the FTP Site and click new then Virtual Directory

2. I mapped the directory to a client drive (the D Drive)

3. The Virtual FTP directory was created and listed and said Access Denied in the Status

4. SO I edited the properties of the new virtual directory and used the admin account to connect to that directory

5. After making that change, the Status of "Access Denied" disappeared

6. Then, just to make sure everything was working fine, I right clicked the FTP Virtual Directory I just made and clicked "Explore"

7. The files were listed correctly and everything seemed fine

8. I then ran cuteFTP from a client (the same client that has the Drive I mapped to previously) I connected to the FTP site on my home server and logged on successfully but I still cannot see the ftp directory

9. To make sure my FTP Site was working, I put a file in the ftp root folder (c:\inetpub\ftproot)

10. I then reconnected to the ftp site from the client and the new file showed up fine but still no virtual directory

Anyone have any thoughts? If not, thanks for the taking the time to read this.

-Matt
