Srvr03 install-Video Out of Range

Installing Server 2003 for first time on PC, gets thru first complete install but since reboot, for final tweaks says "Out of Range." Monitors I've tried (3) have all been high-end, so I'm guessing the install rez is too *low*, not too high. Any help appreciated.
