OS: WIN2K3
CPU/Ram: P4
Product: DELL
Comment:

My older OS was NT4 with SP6, and my domain name was PEHNOF.ORG .Because there is a dot in the domain name, I was scary to make an upgrade to WIN2K3.

So, I made a test first. I made an inplace upgrade and, everything worked fine.

Now my question is:
Is there any danger to continue to run WIN2K3 with this domain name with a dot inside? I know that on WIN2K3 special characters are not allowed in the domain name.

Thanks for your advice.

Lamy
