Hi Everyone
I have a bit of a concern. We've recently upgraded to SBS 2003. We previously only made use of POP3 email accounts. Now that we're in the new Domain, we use the POP3 Connector to retrieve our emails.
The problem is that my Manager complains that he's not receiving 'enough' emails. Previously (while using POP3 only and before moving to SBS 2003) he would get say 100 emails a day of which quite alot would be SPAM.
Nowadays he gets much less emails (not even half the amount as before) and almost no SPAM. The thing is that I think he should at least get all the SPAM, but obviously he's not. The issue with the SPAM is that some are legitimate emails that he needs.
I've already set the Intelligent Messag Filtering to SCL values of 8 and 9 respectively so that all SPAM should basically get through. But still he hardly gets any SPAM.
I might be wrong, but I'm also of the understanding that IMF does not actually work when you use the POP3 Connector...
Does anyone have any ideas or opinions on why this might be? I'm pretty sure it's not coincidence that he's not getting the same amount of emails as before.
Also, I've checked to see if there's any message in the Archive folder but there's none - C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\. My concern with this is that there is no UceArchive folder. Only a BadMail, PickUp and Queue folder. Is this a problem and why is there not a UceArchive folder?
Thanks in advance
