Hi all, it has been a while I haven’t post here, I hope this is the right section.
I have been asked to research about a software, that can be installed on a WinServer 2003 and scan all workstations (on the same domain) for software installed (without installing anything on each PC's), something like an audit, so at the end of the day, I can get a report on what software has been installed.
I have found some apps, but they just let me choose applications from a list and scan those on PC's, I need to know all software installed on the machines.
Any idea???
Thnks.

what do you get when you put software audit into google?

Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion.Abstinence training clearly isn't working.

We use this: http://www.altiris.com/
It's not just for inventory. It has a Deployment Console to push out software, Remote Control availability when the user is logged into the machine, backup features, etc, etc, etc. There are many customizations as well.

Thanks Jennifer, let me take a look at that app.
I will post back either to thank or request another opinion.
Thnks again.
