My pc is a member of win-2003 domain.
Are there any softwares that admin. uses for searching my local drive's file (e.g. jpg file)? or any suggestions to protect.

No software is necessary for an Administrator to access your machine. Suggestions to protect what? Access from the Admin? Nope. DAs or EAs should have full access to any computer on the Domain/Network. If you have personal data that you don't want anyone to see, remove it from your work PC and take it home and put it on your home computer.

Life's more painless for the brainless.

Don't keep dirty photos on your computer.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10

If this is a work PC it belongs to the company who bought it for you to use. It is NOT your property and the company (and the admin who's running the domain) have every right in the world to:

A) Tell you how you can and can't use that PC (like, no porn, no games, no chatting etc)

B) Look at the contents of your PC at any time they wish to.

If you use that PC for something they've told you you can't (like surfing porn at work or playing games or chatting for examples) they are well within their rights to FIRE YOU if they catch you. Depending on what it is you're doing, you could even end up charged criminally.

If I might make a suggestion here........I highly recommend you just stick to doing work on the work PC and do whatever you want to with your own PC at home.
