Slow login

All domain users are connecting to the server without any performance problem. It's only through RDP and the console that it's taking 1min to login. I've looked through all the logs but there is no error messages. DNS and DHCP are installed on the DC.

On the host computer are the mstsc.exe, and mstscax.dll the same version? This can cause slow remote logon, don't think it would be an issue if local though.

The version of mstsc.exe and mstscax.dll are both version 5.1.
What I have noticed is that if I close the RDP connection without logging out, then the next time the log in is quick.
