Slow file access over Win2K3 and XP

Hi,
I have a problem with the speed of data creation. I'm sharing a test folder on the Windows Server 2003. The share is for everyone and full access, but the permissions on the shared folder is for the admin only. When I create a file that is related to a Microsoft software, it takes about 1 minutes to see on the client side (Windows explorer freeze for that time). On the server side, the file is created almost instantaneously. For files that are not related to microsoft software, the speed is OK.
Can someone tell me why? And is there a way to fix that?

Seems a patch sometime around April did a thing to check software. MS was supposed to correct it but there were some links on how to fix it too. A few of my systems did it and I took the patch out for a few weeks until it was fixed. See if that patch is the same as your issue.
