Shutdown caused by MMC

OS: Windows 2003 Server
CPU/Ram: 128
Comment:

Whenever i closed the MMC Console, i got this error message:
"Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpected".
It didn't happen before, only recently it occurred. I've scanned w/ antivirus & , no viruses seemed to be found. & I have all the latest patches installed.

Any ideas?

See event viewer for clues. That RPC error ought to be there in greater detail and search online.
