Hi
I want to share a folder on the server for each login user and map it as the H drive. Which method is better.
1. Create a folder called users on the server and inside that share out the username$ so it's hidden, then in the login profile path, set H: \\servername\username$
2. Create a folder called users on the server and share it out as users, then inside that create the username folder and set profile path to H: \\servername\users\username
Method 1 I have to shared out each users name while method 2 I don't have to, if I understand it right but the H drive shows the long profile name on the client and I have about 200 users to setup.

If you create a main shared folder, remove all groups from it (especially the Everyone group) except the Administrators group, add the Athenticated users group, when each sub folder (username) is created the only people with access to that folder should be the User themself and the Administrators group.
Keep your usernames simple. For Joe Smith you should be using something like jsmith, smithj, or j.smith etc.
