I cannot figure out why this doesn't work.
I have Serv-U as a FTP server on my Windows 2003 server. In Serv-U i'm trying to share a folder om my other LAN PC, but when I logon to the server and try to change to this map, it just give me: "No such file or folder" message. I'm not using a firewall between my PC:s om the LAN but on the server out to the Internet. Using Serv-U 6.0 and have tried different ftp programs to connect. I can browse all drives on my server where the Serv-U is running, but not the LAN shared ones. Is there a setting for sharing a folder on to a thirdparty application or someting?

Maybe I'm way off base here, but do you have file sharing to allow access to the client computer username?

I solved the problem! kinda, I noticed when I installed a new ftpserver it worked. Then I made some configurations and it didn't work again... =/ So it was som kind of config that made it not work. And the thing was that when I ran it in service-mode, I couldn't add network drives. But in user-mode it worked!
I just can't figure out why it's like that?
Any ideas? Couse I need som programs to run in service-mode. =/
