For users on our domain, I need all the systems to use the Windows Classic theme. I found the setting in GPO to force classic shell.. so the Start Menu is classic, but the taskbars still have the XP cartoonish look. I also need to have the Quick Launch bar be default to have the "Show Desktop" and "Launch IE" icons.

I suppose that's an option, but then I'd have to do that on each computer on the domain. I'd rather to this from one location, and be done with it, instead of spending a week visitin every workstation and customizing these settings.
Plus, this would not solve the quick launch toolbar problem I'm having.
Hmm....

Have you enabled "Force Classic Start Menu" under "UserConfiguration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar".
I'm searching for a solution for the "Quick Launch" through GroupPolicy, too.
