Hi,
My windwos 2003 server services.exe mem usage is up very quick from 7000k three days ago to 45,000k today.
I scanned the computer with trojan hunter and nothing found. It happened 7 days ago and I restored from a backup image. No suspicious remote address was found.
Thanks!!!
Any help???
Jason

Performance Monitor analysis reveals a steady increase in private bytes for Services.exe.
Even more noticeable is the working set for Services.exe - from 10 MB to 137 MB, depending on up time.
I am using windows 2003 server.
Thanks!

Hi,
Have a problem with possible memory leak in windows 2003 server:
1. Performance Monitor analysis reveals a steady increase in private bytes for Services.exe.
2. Even more noticeable is the working set for Services.exe - from 10 MB to 137 MB, depending on up time.
3. A reboot did not solve the problem and added more Mem Usage to the services.exe.
No virus, trojan, spy/mal ware were found. The cpu usage is 2-4%.
The logon services are not affected.
Any help? The Mem usage is normally 8000k to 40000k.
Scanned with the latest Symantec anti-virus,
trojan hunter and microsoft-antispy software.Ran the netstat -a and found no suspicious ports open.
Thanks!
Any help?
Jason
