I'm trying to install Server 2003 on my x345 but can't install the raid controller drivers during os install. I'm using the f6 method and have the correct floppy driver disk but it always says nfrd960.sys is missing. I have check and it's there. When I install it from the floppy is goes smoothly but later comes up with the missing file. Is the controller looking in the wrong directory? I know a bit of code but not too comfortable changing the install files. Do I need to add directories/files to the os drive before install? Just for fun or out of despiration I installed Vista and it worked without a hitch. It must have a good selection of drivers.

HP? As far as I know both the server and card are manufactured by IBM. I downloaded the driver floppies on the IBM website. They had them for 03, 2000, XP, and dos. I tried them all. Should I try to make one from the server setup disc?

Yes IBM cd should have the same thing HP does which is the make driver disk according to what OS you are installing. Yes make it from the cd
