I have just set up a Win 2003 server (std) and I have a problem when I log on to the domain on a Win 98 computer. It logs on to the network domain and when I double click on Network Neighbourhood I see all the other computers and the server on the network. I can browse all the other computers but when I try browsing the server I get a message titled "Network Neighbourhood" "\\<servername> is not accessible. No permission to access resource". I have some mapped drives on the server and when I click on these in "My Computer" I see the files and folders. Then I can click Network Neighbourhood and I can see the directory structure (files and folders). I have tried logging on as Administrator but the same error appears. However if I log off administrator and then log back on as myself I can see all the files and folders. I have given myself Administrator rights on the server and Domain User and Server User membership. It is as if there is a time issue as sometimes I can be connected to the server and after 30 minutes lose the connection automatically. I have tried moving the pc to another network point where another Windows 98 pc connects okay and stays connected fine. I have compared all the properties of Network and they match exactly. They have fixed IP addresses and I have the usual Netbeui and File and Printer Sharing as well. Any suggestions ????
