Logon to domain for users is starting to take a long time....A real long time. XP Pro users logging onto domain taking up to twenty minutes. Any ideas?

Usual reason is name resolution issues. Check DNS and event viewer for clues.

Also I had problems with log ons when I depended on DHCP (on other machine) to provide the DNS server address. Do this experiment: Hard code your server address as DNS entry in the windows XP machine and then log off log on. See if there is any difference. Also check the speed of your net. And also you did not specify if the user is roaming.
