I have got the following message that is generated by the machine. My main DC is Windows 2003 with DNS. And the forward zone of this "ADDOMAIN" is set to be primary and not AD intergradted. make sure the 1st DC is pointing to itself in the DNS client setup for TCP/IP

yes, the 1st DC is always point to itself. The first DC is running DNS too. And the domain DNS' forward DNS is the DNS server for my domain's parent domain. But it won't fix the problem.

All you need is one DNS server, your trying to joing another DC to another root DC? give us a step by step what your trying to do? There are many diff ways you can have two DC's talk with each other.. explain wnat your trying to do?
