When you search the AD for a user from XP you have to do the following
Start/all programs/Search/people computers printers/people in your address book and then manually select Active Directory.
Is there a way to make a shortcut to this or is there a way to set the defalt to "Active directory" rather than "address book" ?

Yes, and you can thank me for this one because a lot of people commented on this little shortcut as being helpful in the Windows 2000 book I wrote.
Right click on My Network Places on the desktop and select Open. On the left pane, click Search Active Directory. In the Find and IN fields, make sure your desired selections are chosen. It should default to Users, Contacts and Groups and Entire Directory. You may want to select a specific domain. When you have that done click File, Save Search and name it and save it to your desktop or wherever you want. You will then have an icon there. Double click it and Viola!. Like magic.
Where do I send the bill? ;)
Enjoy.

I would almost think there is a reg key that could be edited for WAB sort state but I don't know how to do it.
