This problem is nothing to do with the computer information provided.

What i would like to do is to search AD for the following information (separate searches is OK)

Computers running
Windows XP with no service pack
Windows XP with service pack 1
Windows XP with service pack 3
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or 5.5

Can anyone help me with this please. I would prefer not to install any software and i don't know how to write scripts. There a few thousand computers to search for.

"This problem is nothing to do with the computer information provided." Then why post it? You should post the specs of the machine you're utilizing.

What OS is on the DC?

The problem, if you read it, you can clearly see, has nothing to do with the specs of the PC i provided, since the problem relates to Active Directory and not to my PC. I was forced by process to enter this information, and couldn't put a call on without it. The post i made was on server 2003. So, would you like to guess what o/s the DC uses?

Would I like to guess? No. People are here to help; not play guessing games. You posted in the Server 2003 Forum, yet you put XP as the OS. So, since you didn't mention Server 2003 anywhere in your OP, what would you expect?

So, when you post, enter the specs of the machine with the "issue." You didn't provide the OS of the machine in question until Response number 2.
